The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) requires: Both Photograph and Signature must have minimum dimensions of 350 pixels x 350 pixels (and maximum 1000 x 1000 pixels). The file size for both must be strictly between 20 KB and 300 KB in JPG/JPEG format.
What is the UPSC 10-Day Photo Rule?▾
As per UPSC guidelines, the photograph uploaded must not be older than 10 days from the date of online application opening. The candidate name and date on which the photo was taken must be clearly printed at the bottom of the photograph. The candidate face should occupy at least 3/4th (75%) of the photograph space.
